Magic Valley Chorus Director

Sandy Seitz

Sandy won her 1st place International Chorus
Championship medal while singing with the
Racine Chorus (Wisconsin) in 1973.   She also
won a 3rd place quartet medal, singing baritone in
her first Regional Competition, seven weeks after
joining Sweet Adelines.   

Learning under the direction of Jarmela Speta,
long-time Director, 2-time Quartet Queen, and
Judge, and being coached by Lyle Pilcher, Coach
to  many 1st place Sweet Adeline and  
Barbershop Harmony Society Quartets, prepared
Sandy for the role she is playing today as the
Director for Magic Valley Chorus.   

Her musical background is as an accomplished
accordionist beginning at age 9, performing in
many venues,  and continuing to today, along with
singing alto and baritone in many different
choruses and quartets during the years.
